We're Hiring! We're looking for a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Coordinator to join our team at NOVA SySTEMic. The CTE Coordinator's primary objectives will be to develop, design, and implement strategies and activities that increase Dual Enrollment in the CTE fields, facilitate secondary students in exploring postsecondary CTE fields, and increase postsecondary engagement in Career and Technical Student Organizations. Students pursue Cyber at NOVA in Navy Partnership The U.S. Navy has selected Virginia's Community Colleges (VCCS) to be a founding partner in its newly created U.S. Naval Community Colleges (USNCC) program, starting Jan 2021. 600 students have been selected to participate in the pilot program and as many as 100 students will take courses at NOVA pursuing our nationally recognized Cybersecurity A.A.S. program... The Career & Leadership Readiness Institute (CLRI) will enhance your career skills, help you learn to work effectively in a diverse workplace, and aid you in discovering career connections through leadership and professional development activities. STEM Teacher PD in 2021

Our 2021 Virtual STEM Teacher Professional Development Series kicks off with 5 sessions (Jan 4 thru Feb 22) that will train teachers in TinkerCAD for 3D printing, Inkscape Files for Laser Cutting, Understanding CNC Carving, Woodshop, and a 4-part Cybersecurity series.
