Webinar- Special Needs Planning: Steps to Take & Mistakes to Avoid

FREE WEBINAR

For Parents, Grandparents, Caregivers

Wednesday, June 14th at 12:00 noon

on Zoom. Registration required to attend.

It can be difficult to prepare for the future when you have a loved one with a disability.

Additionally, simple mistakes could cause a loss of benefits (like Medicaid or SSI) if something happens to mom or dad. Special needs planning attorney, Chip Morrison, has designed this webinar to help you avoid the most common legal and financial traps that you will face as your child transitions into adulthood.

He will cover:

  • How to pass money to a child with disabilities so they are never disqualified from receiving government benefits.
  • How to prepare future caregivers to manage your child’s affairs if you ever become sick, disabled, or pass away and can no longer provide care.
  • Easy ways to “fund” a lifetime of care for your child. He’ll show you how to utilize solid legal tools, financial strategies, guardianships, ABLE Accounts, and insurance to ensure your child is financially secure both now and well into adulthood.
