How We Help Pets & People In Need
" H.O.P.E. for Animals is so awesome. They did great with their limited contact appointments. They took our pets at the door and brought them out when they were done with the exams & shots. "

A Second Chance teamed with H.O.P.E. for Animals and provided FREE vaccines for over 200 dogs and cats!

H.O.P.E. for Animals teamed together with local teen artist and entrepreneur Madeline Phuong , to provide FREE Rabies and Distemper vaccines for 200 dogs and cats during the week of Memorial Day. Clinic visitors whose pets were at H.O.P.E. for vaccines were surprised with their Rabies and Distemper vaccines being provided at no charge thanks to funds donated by A Second Chance. Madeline created this nonprofit in an effort to make a difference in the community.

This picture shows just a small portion of the pets that were helped through A Second Chance. The photo in the middle is of Madeline and her dog Roxie.  ❤️

Madeline originally hoped to fund a one-day vaccination clinic here at H.O.P.E. for Animals where we could help over 200 pets in just one day, however the challenges of COVID-19 made this near impossible to accomplish, so we improvised. Instead, for the week of May 26th – May 29th, animals visiting the clinic for Rabies or Distemper vaccines were provided those vaccinations at no cost to the pet owner through Madeline’s thoughtful gift.

You can support Madeline by purchasing her artwork through her Etsy shop or at the Barr St. Farmers Market.

Madeline will be at the Barr St. Farmers Market on June 27 and August 8th.

Thank you SO much Madeline!  ❤️🐾

Employee Spotlight: Jaclynn
Jaclynn is one of our amazing Wellness and Transport staff here at H.O.P.E. for Animals! She has been with H.O.P.E. for about 1 year now and we LOVE having her as part of our team!

Jaclynn excels at handling animals as well as customer service. You may have seen her helping your pet in our Wellness Clinic or riding in our colorful van helping with transport! She keeps the positivity flowing in our Wellness Clinic, even when times are rough and everyone else is down. When it comes to bloodwork, she is the go-to person. Jaclynn really brightens up our Wellness side with her constant smiling and positive attitude. We are thankful to have her here at H.O.P.E.!

At home, she has her dog, Mabel, as well as two snakes! She also LOVES fostering. She is currently fostering 2 kittens which puts her at a total of 9 pets she has fostered in the past 2 years. Jaclynn has a very kind heart when it comes to animals, one of the reasons why she fits in so well here at H.O.P.E.

When Jaclynn is not here at H.O.P.E., you can find her painting or working on digital art. She is an amazing artist and you can tell she is passionate about both animals and art. Fun fact, she donated an amazing charcoal portrait of a dog for last year's Hip to Snip! Jaclynn is a PAWsome addition to our team and we all love having her around!
Look how many animals we helped in May!
