Festivus-Inspired/Holiday Community Social on

Tuesday, December 30th, from 5 pm - 8 pm.

Join us for our December Social Community Party!

It will be a Festivus-inspired Party with Live Music by Danny Morgan, Drink Specials, Burgers & Hot Dogs by ACT Catering, a cash bar and Lots of FUN!

(A family-friendly event, though probably a little more fun for grown-ups...)

Holiday-Festive Attire or Ugly Sweaters are Encouraged.

A note about "Festivus"

From a Seinfeld episode, it is a holiday that George's dad, Frank, invented. It is very silly, with various "un-holiday-like" activities, such as "airing of grievances" and wrestling to demonstrate "feats of strength." We will not be staying on script, but joining the silliness with a few Festivus-inspired components. Most of all, this is just an opportunity for members of the community to gather and enjoy one another's company in a festive setting. Cheers!

Line Dancing Classes start January 8th!

Come join us for Line Dancing at the Community House!

Line Dancing is a social activity that is wonderful for your memory, balance and overall health.

Each class you will learn popular new dances and begin to build a repertoire of dances that are currently taught and danced in popular venues here in Florida and throughout the country.

We look forward to seeing you on the dance floor!

Classes will be taught by dance instructor Valarie Wolf, who has been teaching line dancing at the Community House for the past five years.

Learning objectives: Baking, custard making, stuffing techniques, sauce making, and pasta making.
