Bolt Creek Fire Financial Aid Grant
Closes today, 1/20/2023 at 5:00 PM
The Bolt Creek Fire caused financial harm from Stevens Pass Resort to Monroe. The Sky Valley Chamber of Commerce has coordinated private fundraising events that have raised $18,000 with our partners Economic Alliance of Snohomish County, Coastal Community Bank, Boeing, PSE, Angel of the Winds Arena, Crosswater Community Church, and Private Donors. We intend to distribute these funds to businesses that apply and can document a loss. We know it’s small, but we hope it will help.
We have also worked with other agencies, Snohomish County DEM, the City of Monroe, the Department of Commerce, Small Business Administration, Washington Emergency Management Division, and the Governor’s Office to get our area designated a Disaster Relief Area which will open our businesses to low-interest SBA loans https://disasterloanassistance.sba.gov/.
We are still hoping to find grants that can help as well.
