The Tahlequah Main Street Association is happy to present its fourth quarterly "Downtown Lowdown" for 2022!

This newsletter is intended to update each of you with as much information about our vibrant downtown and its events!

What have we been up to?

That's a great question, we would love to tell you!

CONGRATULATIONS JAMIE!

The Tahlequah Main Street Association would like to take a moment to recognize the boundless efforts of our most dedicated servant leader.

Jamie Hale has been the director of the Tahlequah Main Street Association for the past 4 years and our most committed volunteer and advocate. Jamie's passion for her work does not stop with her. You will often see her family serving right beside her. Thank you, Jamie and your family, for your commitment to the revitalization of our Downtown Tahlequah corridor.

JOIN TAHLEQUAH MAIN STREET ON FEBRUARY 15!

Since the TMSA transformational strategies workshop with Main Street America, and the Oklahoma Main Street staff, we have started offering a monthly Community Transformation Meeting where you can plug in and be a part of TMSA!

We'd love to see you!

Welcome our New Board members!

UPCOMING EVENTS

Red Fern Festival back in April!

The festival spans seven blocks and hosts over 150 arts and crafts vendors and gourmet food trucks. There are many activities for all ages. The inflatables, petting zoos and kids games naturally attract kids, while the showcase of live music attracts the young and the young at heart. There is an annual Miss Red Fern Pageant that’s a hit with festival-goers and the rubber duck race through the Town Branch Creek is always a must. Coon Hunters come out to compete in the Hound Dog Field Trials to find out who’s top dog.

The Red Fern festival continues to grow each year both in size and in heart. What once started as an event of under 1,000 attendees has grown to an estimated 15,000+ attendees with people coming from all over the United States.
