Live From Marist: "The Classroom" Debuts on ESPN Radio
Sunrise Broadcasting of NY, Inc. and the Marist College Center for Sports Communication have partnered to launch a weekly sports radio program produced live from the Marist College campus, representing the nation's first partnership between an ESPN radio affiliate and an academic center on a college campus. Marist Group Honored at National Philanthropy Day Event The Marist College chapter of Habitat for Humanity was honored recently by the Association of Fundraising Professionals. At its Nov. 15 National Philanthropy Day celebration, the AFP's Mid-Hudson Valley Chapter presented Marist Habitat for Humanity with the Friends of Green Chimneys Outstanding Collegiate Philanthropy Award. Marist Named a 2014 Best Private College For the eighth consecutive year, Kiplinger's Personal Finance has included Marist on its list of the country's best values in private colleges, where the College moved up four spots to 58th.
