Dear Archway Family,
I hope that everyone had a safe and happy holidays with their loved ones. This season is a cherished time for us to slow down, be present in each moment, and reflect on the people, places, memories, and special moments that make life itself so special. All of us at Archway Programs would like to thank you for being a part of
our story
. Without your support, we would not be able to make such a difference in the lives of those we serve throughout the community.
Archway Programs is grateful for all that we experienced in 2018 – the growth, the gifts, the challenges. This past year has been significant in Archway’s growth and development as an organization. And it would not have been possible without you.
Thank you for making it possible for our organization to further our mission helping children, teens, adults and families throughout New Jersey. To each individual Archway serves, thank you – you inspire us each and every day. Our Archway family continues to grow as we add more staff, and as we continue to expand our services to meet the needs of our communities, and celebrate another year embracing differences and improving lives.
We look forward to another successful year serving our community in 2019.
Warm regards,
George Richards

Thankful and Grateful For You
|
|
Over the holidays, our Archway family came together to share the spirit of gratitude. After all, it’s what the season is all about. Let us all view life through the lens of gratitude and appreciation. And not let any of life’s challenges interfere with gaining a true appreciation for all the gifts that grace our lives. We would like to thank those who made the holidays a little brighter for the individuals we serve.

Toni the Blonde's Annual Holiday Fundraiser
|
|
For nearly three decades, a dear friend and longtime Archway supporter has been making an impact in our students' lives. We would like to recognize and thank you Toni Felicetti, also known as ‘Toni the Blonde’, for donating her time and money to support Archway students at her Annual Holiday Fundraiser.
What started off as a small event at her home in South Philadelphia has now grown to a large fundraiser in Cherry Hill. Each guest who attends the event, brings a Christmas gift and a donation in exchange for a night of fun, knowing that they are helping those in need in their local community.
|
"I never had a Christmas when I was younger, so it means the world to me to be able to give back and help kids in need. That's what it's all about," Toni said.
Toni, we are beyond humbled by the support that you have shown Archway Programs throughout the years.
We would also like to thank Ron Ravitz from the Marlton ShopRite for donating food and to all of the guests who attended and donated gifts. We are forever grateful for your support.

Honda of Turnersville Hosts Annual Holiday Party
|
Honda of Turnersville (
Penske Automotive Group) shut down their service bay to host the 6th annual holiday party for Archway’s HOPE and DISCOVER youth programs. Staff and families from the Honda dealership plan the highly anticipated event, which gives youth from our HOPE and DISCOVER programs the opportunity to take a break from the daily challenges they face and just be kids.
As kids anxiously lined up in the dealership showroom waiting for Santa to arrive, Honda announced that Santa needed a little extra help getting there. That’s when the
Phillie Phanatic came running out totally surprising the kids!

Upper School's "Tree of Warmth"
|
|
Each holiday season, you will find a “Tree of Warmth” located in the Archway's Upper’s School. A Christmas tree is filled with items to help those in need and keep students warm during the cold winter months.
Items donated include hats, gloves, scarfs, jackets, and/or anything that students need. Archway staff keeps the tree filled with items for Archway students and donates any unused items.
Pictured on the right is the "Tree of Warmth" with Archway's Upper School Teacher Mr. Paul.
Thank you to everyone who donated this year!

An Archway Family Gives Back
|
|
Parents of two of our students donated new fishing equipment for students to use. Archway Programs would like to thank the Parker family (and their friends who contributed) to the generous donation to the Archway Schools! This donation is a great addition to update our existing behavior mod fishing supplies.
Archway students really enjoy the ability to fish at school, utilizing our scenic lake on the main campus headquarters. Ryan's mom informed us that it was actually her son's idea to collect the donations.
"It was my oldest son's idea to start this donation. He enjoys the ability to fish and help other kids learn and experience something our entire family shares a passion for. This was the least we could do. Not many kids are given the opportunity to fish. Thanks Archway for offering an amazing behavior mod!"
What an awesome way to give back to students!

Paying it Forward: Local Teen Makes Donation to Archway
|
|
Evan Zanetich, a local teenager from Voorhees, contacted Archway's Upper School in 2018 to see how he could give back to those in need. Inspired by his love of sports, he chose to make a donation to Archway students initially as part of his Bar Mitzvah. Evan, his mother, grandmother and brother all visited Archway's Upper School to make the donation of sports equipment. After Evan met Archway students and saw how much it meant to them, he wanted to do more. He wanted others to have the opportunities that he was provided by his family.
|
|
Evan has since visited Archway's Upper School multiple times to donate sports equipment and supplies.
Thank you Evan for your generous donation! You are an inspiration to others and a remarkable role model for all students.

Archway Strong for Our #ArchwayFamily

|
Each fall, Archway Programs hosts an event to raise money for employees and their families who encounter hard times due to an illness or other medical condition. This year $2,100.00 was raised at Archway's Annual Cancer Walk for one of our longtime employees, Kim Labbree. Kim and her husband Steve were overwhelmed by the donation, tears were shed and appreciation beyond words were expressed! Thank you to everyone who donated.
Stay strong Kim, we love you!

Holiday Fun at HOPE and DISCOVER Programs
|
|
Staff from Partial Care Youth Programs, HOPE and DISCOVER, got everyone in the holiday spirit this past month! Pictured to the right is staff from an ugly sweater contest. Congratulations to Ms. Shavonne for winning the contest, her 3D unicorn sweater was tough to beat!
Both HOPE and DISCOVER programs also had a friendly group room decorating competition. Kids came up with the ideas for their rooms and Archway staff brought their ideas to life. The rooms were judged by staff based on creativity and the teamwork displayed by youth. Everyone did an incredible job! After the judges had a long thought out discussion, they concluded that Room 2 from the HOPE Program, led by Ms. Elise and Mr. Tymeir, and Room 7 from the DISCOVER Program, led by Ms. Dawn, tied for first place! Congratulations to both winners! They earned a pizza party to celebrate the win.

Archway was honored to participate on the Cause Marketing Panel, moderated by Sally Glick
