Happy Memorial Day weekend! As we wrap up our spring recreation season, we want to take this opportunity to thank all of our players, coaches, and volunteers for making this another terrific season of soccer. Each month, a boy and girl U10 or older from our recreational programs will be selected Athlete of the Month. To nominate your player for May, please use the link below. Emphasis will be placed on nominees who exemplify sporting behavior, teamwork, a positive attitude, and leadership. Repeat nominations are permitted. Players who are selected for recognition may only receive the award once.

Enes Sunje named Director of Coaching for MI Stars Lightning

We are excited to announce that Enes Sunje has been appointed as our new Director of Coaching! Enes has been a committed member of our club for 12 years and has served as our Technical Director for the past two years. Beyond his long-standing commitment to the club, Enes holds the UEFA A License, and brings with him extensive playing and coaching experience from Europe. Further, he is a physical education teacher in Chippewa Valley Schools and a PhD candidate in Kinesiology and Exercise Science/Technology in Sport Training.

“It is a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together. I am honored and grateful about my future role as a DOC and I think the best is yet to come,” says Sunje.

Backed by our experienced and passionate coaching staff, we are excited about the future and about delivering an exceptional player development experience rooted in the values that make our club special.

Summer Elite Training

Spots are still available for Summer Elite Training - a great opportunity to keep your child active, improving, and having fun this off-season with licensed coaches and teammates from across the club! (U7-U10)

• Dates: June 9-July 25 (No sessions 6/30-7/4)
• Frequency: 2 sessions/week, 1.5 hours each
• Cost: $199
• Location: RSC Complex, 3200 Dutton Rd
