Cleve Tutt- Tutt Custom Homes
In times of change, such as in farewells, it can be hard to find the right words to express how one feels about the past, with its memories, and the future, with all of its unknowns and new beginnings. I can tell you; I am joyous about what the future holds for the Big Country HBA.

As I look back at my time here as President of the HBA, I am overwhelmed by all that we were able to accomplish together, even against the greatest of odds.

One of the things I’m most proud of is how we as an organization never let go of the principles that have always guided us. As an association that represents all industry sectors, the Big Country HBA advocates for the interests of all businesses, and we have done so with broad vision and the spirit of inclusion. Even when the discussions got tough, we saw the value in differences of opinion, and it is in these differences where we find our strength.

None of the successes of the Big Country HBA would have been possible without the dedication and participation of our membership community and gracious sponsors. By working together, we have accomplished many great things, and I have no doubt that with the continued leadership of our board, the engagement of our business leaders and members and the commitment from this great association that those successes will continue for many years to come.

While this is the end of the road for me as President, I have full confidence that under the direction of Lucas Gibbs, the Big Country HBA will continue to thrive.

It has been an absolute pleasure to be at the helm of this great organization for the last 12 months. Thank you for helping me see the wisdom, the blessing, the joy and the happiness that comes from being engaged with good people in a good cause. Always remember, this is the greatest place to live, work, learn and play.

Cleve Tutt
Big Country HBA President
Each year, the Big Country HBA hosts an annual election to determine who will fill the vacancies within the Board of Directors. The Big Country HBA seeks leaders from the industry who are dedicated to the organizations mission “To Promote and Protect the Building Industry”. Serving on the BCHBA Board of Directors will prove to be a worthwhile and positive experience for those who are passionate about strengthening the leadership within the organization. These Board members are expected to serve a 2 year term and responsibly represent the Big Country HBA in the community and to advocate for our mission, programs, events and services. Please join us in welcoming a few new faces to the Board of Directors. We would also like to congratulate Jon Loudermilk, Mark Aldriedge and Evan Harris on being re-elected to serve another term.
