Adventures in Art Torrance
Each year, Adventures in Art (AIA) provides training to volunteer docents from participating Torrance schools. Five grade-level appropriate projects, written by local artists and art educators, are selected by AIA to give students hands-on opportunities to learn fine-arts methods while working with quality art materials. Participating schools send their school's volunteers to attend AIA’s Docent Orientation and five grade-level art Workshops to learn projects directly from the artists and educators. Docents then return to their schools to lead students through these projects in their own classrooms. AIA schools celebrate students’ art work and continuing artistic development by creating annual student art exhibits on their campuses featuring current year projects.

The Aerospace Players
The AEAMCC (Aerospace Employees Association Musical Comedy Club) was formed in 1988, with the intent of providing a forum for Aerospace Corporation and Los Angeles Air Force Base employees, their friends, and their families to participate in the "lively arts." This is not to imply that the productions are purely recreational; the club has always maintained the belief that working hard to produce quality shows will increase the enjoyment of its members. As the Air Force Base and Aerospace have a combined population in excess of 10,000 people, there is quite a bit of theatrical, musical, dance and production talent available.

Beach Cities Symphony
The Beach Cities Symphony Association believes music enriches individuals, whether performer or member of the audience, and the community at large. The association presents four free concerts per year. The orchestra plays classical pieces ranging from the early to the contemporary, including works by local composers. Prize-winning young soloists are given an opportunity to perform with the orchestra. Most performers and soloists are members of the local community. Concerts are held in the community college. Our goals are not only to entertain, but also to inform and educate the audience by means of newsletters, concert programs, and pre-concert lectures. We shall maintain our presence by continuing to solicit voluntary contributions from members, local businesses, foundations and other sources.
