A Special Panel Discussion on the 20th Anniversary of the Death of Terri Schiavo

The COPH's Dr. Jay Wolfson will join this panel to discuss the lasting impact of the Terri Schiavo case. A leading expert in health law and bioethics, he will explore how the case reshaped medical decision-making, patient rights and health care policy in the U.S.

Join the COPH at our Annual National Public Health Week Awards Ceremony. Featuring awards honoring student achievement, excellence in teaching, outstanding alumni and more!

Black Maternal Health Week

The celebration includes a community block party, 5K fun run and various forums throughout the week. Student volunteers are needed. Register in advance.

Lifelong Learning Academy: Post-Disaster Spotting

Join the Lifelong Learning Academy for an engaging session in which they explore numerous legal impediments that impair a disaster survivor’s path to recovery and how to meet these unique needs.

COPH Activist Lab: Building Social Connection and Wellbeing in Tampa

This community event is designed to foster meaningful dialogue and raise awareness about the critical role of social connection in promoting both individual and community well-being. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in interactive discussions and activities that emphasize mental health and the importance of building strong social networks.

COPH Alumni Society Board Meeting

All COPH alumni are welcome to join the leadership team for their monthly meet-up! They plan events, host fundraisers and discuss other matters of importance to COPH alumni. The group convenes virtually on the third Thursday of every month via Microsoft Teams.

MHA Pinning Ceremony and Graduation Celebration

The MHA Pinning Ceremony marks the completion of one year in the MHA program. The event was postponed from Fall 2024 due to the hurricanes. In addition, they will be honoring Spring MHA graduates.
