Many employers with more than 10 employees are required to keep a record of serious work-related injuries and illnesses. Minor injuries requiring first aid only do not need to be recorded. Hazardous Materials


Hazardous material is any item or chemical that is a “health hazard” or “physical hazard” that is commonly referred to as HAZMAT or Dangerous Goods by industry and the U.S. This course covers OSHA General Industry Standards and other consensus and proprietary standards that relate to the use of hazardous materials. Course topics include flammable and combustible liquids, compressed gases, LP-gases and cryogenic liquids. Related processes such as spraying and dipping and use of electrical equipment in hazardous locations are also discussed.

Suspended scaffolds are platforms suspended by ropes, or other non-rigid means, from an overhead structure. This course is designed to give site supervisors, foremen and safety managers a detailed overview of the hazardous conditions associated with suspended scaffold use and installation.
