Chamber Cares Initiative
During the month of June we had the privilege of dropping off the food donations to St Noel's Food Pantry!

St. Noel's food pantry services between 90 and 100 households per month and is intended to provide emergency provisions to those who are not able to purchase all the food they need in any given month. Anyone, regardless of location, is welcome at the St. Noel Food Pantry.

A very special thank you to everyone for their generous donations.

We also had the honor of volunteering at Hannah's Home in Mentor in collaboration with United Way of Lake County's Day of Caring on June 22. Our team helped organize and clean the kitchen, clean the gutters and window sills.

Please keep an eye out for our next initiative to be announced soon including a volunteer opportunity with Agape Feast at First Presbyterian Church in Willoughby on July 27th!

GOLD SPONSOR HIGHLIGHT
Mimi Magazine
This month marks the 20th anniversary of Mimi’s first edition, which published on June 10, 2003. The cover featured the late Dominic Cerino, grandson of Carrie Cerino and co-owner of her namesake restaurant in North Royalton. He was photographed by longtime Mimi photographer Benjamin Margalit as the smiling restaurateur stood over a delivery of fresh Copper River salmon.

It was Dominic who introduced us to Benjamin and his wife Lynn, who has served as our creative director for our entire 20 years.

The banner in those early days read, “Mimi Vanderhaven’s Fabulous Buys,” and in every story Mimi referred to readers as “darling,” often beginning her regular column with, “Greetings, kind reader!”

Here, from the bottom of our hearts, I want to thank you, kind reader, for reading our words and for supporting the local businesses we feature. And thank you to the thousands of local business owners who have allowed us to tell their stories.

2023 WWLCC Golf Outing Presented by Tec Inc. Engineering & Design
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
The 2023 WWLCC Annual Golf Outing Presented By Tec Inc. was a huge success!

A very special thank you to Tec Inc. once again for being our presenting sponsor and all of our amazing sponsors, golfers, raffle donors and volunteers! Without your assistance, this event would not have been possible!

We were fortunate to have beautiful weather and a great group to help make the event successful.

Through your generosity at the raffle, we raised funds to support our 501(c)3 Education Development Program, that provides (1) scholarships for students that live or go to school in Lake County and (2) professional development and training grants for WWLCC business. So far this year, we have provided 7 students with scholarships up to $1500 and 6 WWLCC businesses with grants.

We are already looking forward to next year's outing!

2023 Willoughby ArtsFest,

VOLUNTEERS AND SPONSORS NEEDED!
Looking for a great volunteer opportunity?

With an estimated attendance of 7,000 visitors, Artsfest volunteers can help out with the fun activities at the Downtown Willoughby Artsfest. We need festival greeters, information booth and auction tent volunteers, assisting artists, and assistance with set-up in the morning. You will be a part of one of the region’s longest standing arts festivals.  Each volunteer will receive an ArtsFest t-shirt.
