This Week 04-02-20 at Sea Hag Marina
UPDATE: Last night Taylor County Commissioners voted to close all public boat ramps in Taylor counties beginning April 3 at 12:01am. Keaton Beach boat ramp will remain open to only commercial fishermen with a certificate and will have a curfew from 8pm until 7am.

As listed under the new orders from Governor Ron DeSantis, fishing is deemed an essential activity.
Sea Hag will remain open as an essential business providing marine hardware, safety equipment, food, ice, fuel, as well as fishing equipment.  We encourage all who enter Steinhatchee to practice safe distancing and cleanliness. We are taking every precaution recommended by our government to prevent the spread of the virus: cleaning & sanitizing our facility hourly, not allowing groups larger than 10 to be at our facility at one time and we've added a hand sanitizer station at the door for you to use. We look forward to providing a pleasant and safe experience at our store. 

If you are coming to our town, we ask that you bring all necessities with you to prevent depletion of our local markets. Please minimize your contact with others & enjoy a day on the boat with your family. Remember, fish are an excellent source of protein, essential vitamins and minerals for a healthy immune system. 

Dixie County officials plan to meet this week to discuss their boat ramps. Until then, all Dixie County boat ramps are OPEN. We will post updates on our Facebook page as we receive them.

Capt. Brett Molzen, Brittany & Taylor went fishing this week and a bull shark decided to attempt to take a bite out of their prop while they were in gear! Unfortunately the shark didn't make it so Capt. Brett & the girls decided to donate all the meat to Deeper Purpose Community Church in High Springs, FL! The church's preacher, Elder Adam Joy, has been making almost 200 meals a day for KIDS that can't afford a meal or do not know when their next meal will be. Thank you Preacher Elder Adam Joy, Capt. Brett, Brittany & Taylor for helping your community!
