Heroes and Helpers with Novato Police
|
|
Novato Police Department continues their tradition of bringing holiday joy and cheer to local children and their families through the Heroes & Helpers Program.
During the month of December, local children and their families, selected by North Marin Community Services and the Novato Unified School District, are provided with gift cards and gift bags for the holidays at the Target Store in Novato. Children receive donated funds from local organizations, businesses and individuals to help them get gifts and other items they need during the holidays. For the past several years, we have sponsored around 60 children and provided them with $100 each to shop for gifts for their families.
Please consider donating to this wonderful event at https://secure.qgiv.com/for/nmcs/ and be sure to dedicate the funds for “Heroes & Helpers 2021". All donations are tax deductible.

A Safety Message from PG&E - Protect Yourself from Carbon Monoxide
With winter months approaching, there are important steps customers can take to protect themselves against the dangers of carbon monoxide, including using only safe, approved methods for home heating and ensuring that carbon monoxide detectors are installed in their homes and working properly.
Every year in the U.S. at least 430 people die from accidental carbon monoxide poisoning and approximately 50,000 people will be sent to the hospital. Carbon monoxide is especially dangerous because it is odorless and can’t be seen, and all California homes are required to have carbon monoxide detectors.
