Given the success of the 2020 Homekey Program, the State of California is budgeting $1.45 billion for the Homekey Program in Fiscal Year 2021-22, and another 1.3 billion in Fiscal Year 2022-23.
In April 2021, Opening Doors Marin, in partnership with the County of Marin, hosted a series of ten community information sessions about the potential Homekey 2.0 program funded by the State. The goal of these sessions was to provide an overview of Homekey 1.0, describe what Homekey 2.0 might looks like and solicit community feedback about both the process and possible projects.
The County looks forward to engaging with the community in-depth as this process continues.
Additional information along with presentations, and community workshop outcomes, is available at novato.org/homekey.

- Do not feed wildlife.
- Please maintain a healthy distance between you and wildlife.
- As always, make sure all dogs are on leash.
- If you have children with you, make sure they stick by your side and keep safe.
Thank you for doing your part to help keep our community and wildlife safe!
