Looking Back on an Extraordinary Year
As the world settles into 2022, we'd like to take a moment to look back on 2021, a year of considerable changes, challenges, and growth at CareLink Community Support Services.

The organization accomplished a great deal in just 12 months. A fresh executive team—including a new CEO, CFO, COO, Director of Human Resources, and Controller—hit the ground running to navigate the agency through both a global pandemic and a nationwide employment crisis. CareLink created and filled Recruitment and Retention Specialist and Training Coordinator positions to help hire and keep great employees, and expanded its quality assurance efforts to include a Quality Assurance Specialist/Certified Investigator. The agency also made considerable investments in capital improvements at its properties; assumed operation of a new program in Chester Springs, PA; and, significantly, completed an expansive, agency-wide compensation audit, which resulted in substantial pay increases for all of our direct-care workers.

CareLink genuinely appreciates the valuable contributions staff make to the organization and the individuals in our care. Even when they’re not earning accolades, actively saving lives, or putting out fires (literally), our employees are the heartbeat of the agency, and we’re working hard to cultivate an organizational culture that reflects this belief.

We look forward to continuing this important work in the new year, and wish all of our staff, participants, and supporters a very happy 2022!
