Happy New Year 2019.... A year of endless possibilities!
As we welcome in 2019 we also celebrate our 10th Anniversary! After 10 evolutionary years of building the FSA I find myself looking at this New Year being filled with so many possibilities.
I, without a doubt, reexamined all my New Year's resolutions, focusing on new opportunities over and over again as they continued to dance in my head. Reflecting on this past year, I am so grateful for all the support from our awe-inspiring spa community and members that have enabled us to follow our vision as it relates to education and endorsing wellness into our spa space. Now it’s a New Year and time is on our side. TIME SAYS YES!! DO IT NOW! Anything is possible!!
We believe in trying and as time moves forward, it allows us opportunities to constantly change and be all that we can be. Our New Year's goal is to make our year an adventure, to look for the invisible, listen to the silences and let our imaginations run wild and bring relevance to our association.

Celebrating our 10th Anniversary, we "raise our glass" to our
spas and vendors at the FSA Love Spa Wine 2019 event!
Festivity is in the air as the FSA "Love Spa Wine 2019" quickly approaches on January 22nd. Celebrating our 10th Anniversary, we say "CHEERS" at our first event in 2019 when we revisit the Quantum Leap Winery in Orlando, which was the talk of the town last year. Proclaiming our love of Spa, we drink to 10 years of cherished occasions to bond, discover, learn and play. Our FSA "Love Spa Wine 2019" event takes place inside a winery warehouse and unites us to network with exciting new and familiar vendors and spas, participate in fundamental Think Tanks while suppliers shower spa attendees with gifts and raffle prizes. We embrace wellness with a delectable healthy lunch and delight in wine tasting and charcuterie during an engaging cocktail reception.

Catherine Warren, Vice President of Training,
WTS International, Inc.
A big shout out to Catherine for her new promotion as Vice President of Training for WTS International, Inc. Catherine has been working with WTS for nearly 9 years, most recently as Corporate Operations Director, Spa Division in 2018. Prior to this role she was Vice President of Health and Wellness at the Carillon Miami Wellness Resort from 2017 - 2018, Catherine was also the Spa Director at the award winning Forbes Five Star Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa for approximately 8 years. Catherine first came on board WTS as the Spa Director at mySpa Intercontinental Miami when she moved from Atlanta, having worked at the Atlanta Athletic Club as a Medical Spa Director and Assistant Athletic Director. With an extensive background in the spa, medical and fitness space, Catherine is an expert in the industry with highly creative marketing skills as well. Providing knowledge and support, her goal is to elevate her team to their peak potential. Congratulations Catherine on a well-deserved promotion!

David Bremer, Spa Director, Eau Spa
Congratulations to David on his new position as Spa Director at the luxurious Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa. David is a long-time skilled colleague in the Spa market having worked as a Spa Director for high profile Resorts, Country Clubs and Spas, as well as General Manager for a Vacation Club. David was also the New Business Development Manager for Thalgo USA , a Director for Aveda Institute South Florida and an owner for DMB Frames. With such an extensive background in the industry, David is a sure bet to use his expertise and leadership to direct his new team for success. Cheers David, well done!
