National Small Business Week

Every year since 1963, the President of the United States has issued a proclamation announcing National Small Business Week (NSBW), which recognizes the critical contributions of the country’s entrepreneurs and small business owners. NSBW will be held again this year on May 2-5, 2022. Visit the NSBW website to learn more about how you can join in the week’s activities.

Building Confidence in Accessing Capital

Join the City of West Palm Beach and the Florida SBDC at FAU at the Mandel Public Library, in West Palm Beach to learn about capital access opportunities for your small business. This in-person seminar will guide business owners on:

Access to Capital

Analysis of opportunities of business credit underwriting with commercial credit and complex commercial lending of all types, including asset-based loans.

  • Consulting on lending regulations, policies and practices
  • Preparation, analysis and evaluation of credit relationships with multiple financial and investment entities, approved local financial institutions that participate in asset-based lending practices; as well as, insured receivables financing, with public or private risk insurance mitigation
