Did you know Florida businesses affected by flash flooding on May 26 and 27 can now apply for low-interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration? Contact a Florida SBDC at FAU consultant today to determine if you qualify for a business physical disaster loan, an economic injury disaster loan (EIDL) or both. Remember, the Florida SBDC at FAU always offers one-on-one assistance at no cost, apply HERE.
The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is Oct. 13.

Insight to Success
Are you a leader who would benefit from improved working relationships? How about learning new ways to strengthen your management skills? Or, maybe you want to improve your leadership impact, or even learn to effectively tackle conflict.
Consultants at the Florida SBDC at FAU offer an assessment program, called Turbo Charge Any Team, designed to do all that. The service covers up to five-assessments per company, including individual assessments as well as team debriefs.
A lead consultant will coordinate all logistics with your business to provide access to the assessments, and delivery of the Turbo Charge Any Team debrief session. All consulting associated with organizational development is offered at no cost.
Client companies will have the option to acquire, at their cost, additional assessments. The Turbo Charge Any Team program can help improve profits through:
- Enhanced communication and effectiveness
- Reducing staff turnover, conflict and stress among team members
- Better understanding of a team’s strengths and weaknesses
