Tuition frozen for 2021-22

Students and parents can breathe a little easier this fall because the 16 colleges of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS), including Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC), will not be raising tuition. MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Over the last several weeks, thousands of individuals across our region celebrated a remarkable milestone — graduation.

At Elizabethtown Community and Technical College, graduation looked a little different this year. Still, our virtual and drive-thru style ceremonies were as moving and captivating as ever. That’s because behind each degree and diploma awarded, there was a graduate who had overcome the unforeseen challenges of COVID-19. They were on a path to a better life, and nothing would stand in their way, not even a global pandemic. We couldn’t be more proud of their dedication, hard work, sacrifice, and perseverance.

The same is true for the high school Class of 2021. Their senior year was not what they expected, but they, too, persisted and met the challenge. The qualities these students demonstrated will continue to set them apart as they begin the next phase of their educational journeys.

As this new phase begins, high school graduates may have more questions than ever about college.
