May is Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and a perfect time to participate in events dedicated to the cause.

This year’s theme “In every store, there’s strength”, calls attention to the idea that every “mental health journey is unique, but the strength found within them is universal.”

A priority of Center for Population Health (CPH) is improving mental health and mental health provider knowledge in Cambria and Somerset counties. Through this focus area, the “Mindful Pause” initiative was launched through a collaboration between CPH, 1889 Foundation, and Outdoor Odyssey.
