Annual CHW Rally Day scheduled for October 28 at PA State Capital Building

The 3rd Annual PA CHW Rally Day will take place on Tuesday, October 28 at the PA State Capital Building.

Last year, CPH/HUB staff and HUB Community Health Workers joined over 170 dedicated CHWs and allies from across Pennsylvania to attend the 2nd PA CHW Rally Day.

The day was full of impactful advocacy and celebration that highlighted the essential role CHWs play in improving public health, increasing access to care, and reducing health disparities statewide. Rally Day served as a platform for attendees to meet with state legislators to passionately educate them about CHWs' role and encourage them visit a CHW Employer in their districts.

The successful day of advocacy marked an important step forward, advancing policies to support and recognize CHWs as integral partners in health equity and community wellness.
