Friends of Red Arrow Park: Every week we will be giving a bit of the 32nd Division's history. The Division's history has an honored past reaching back to its antecedents; the fighters of the Blackhawk War; the volunteers who marched off to defend the Union in the Civil War, including the famous 'Iron Brigade', and the Governor's Guards who mobilized for the Spanish American War. Almost all of the Michigan and Wisconsin National Guard units which would be combined to form the 32nd Division had served on the Mexican Border in 1916-17. The 32nd Division was organized under War Dept. orders of 18 July 1917 of National Guard Units from both Wisconsin and Michigan. Units began leaving state camps bound for Camp MacArthur, near Waco, Texas, in early August 1917. The last units arrived at camp in late September 1917.

What the Lock?: It's our birthday! It's our anniversary! We're going into year three! We are so excited to be able to share another new beginning and turn the page to another chapter! This year we had some ups and we had some downs. We focused, and although we are still playing some catch up, we have conquered! This past fiscal year, we remodeled our lobby, opened our new magic shop, Orvellio's: Reconjured, and traveled to a convention in Nashville to learn (and play!). We ventured outside our bring and mortar building and brought our fun to Wilson Junior High and to Windigo Fest. We've donated to such amazing and deserving non-profit organizations in our community! We truly and graciously thank everyone for giving us a beautiful and amazing 2nd year in business and in pleasure!
