WellSpring is an organization with a focus on counseling, support and programs for adults and children, individuals and families, designed to improve relationships and empower a better you.
Wellspring's counseling program addresses the shortage of mental health treatment in America. Over 40 million Americans or 1 out of every 5 adults have a mental health condition. Also, over 50% of American adults with a mental illness do not receive treatment. In addition, the rates of youth depression has increased from and 76% of youth are left with no or insufficient treatment. There is also evidence within the community of Clark County that according to the Clark County Combined Health District (CCCHD) the 2019 the Clark County Community Health Assessment identified mental health as one of three top priorities in life. The target population of this program includes many people from children, adults, senior citizens, and families residing in Clark County who live in poverty or who are uninsured or under insured. Many working families who do not qualify for Medicaid, have insurance with high deductibles or co-pays making weekly therapy for an individual or child completely affordable.
