It's time to Vote for YOUR favorite Scarecrow !!!

The week of Halloween,

the Lake Crystal Area Chamber is asking our AWESOME Lake Crystal residence to vote for their favorite Halloween Scarecrow.

You can vote for your favorite Scarecrow two ways:

1.) Cast your ballot and get it to the Chamber this week (BEFORE 1:00 Thursday- 10/31/2024)

2.) Pick your choice on Halloween from 2:30-4:00pm at Marston Park. OR

3.) Cast your vote on the Chamber Facebook page. (If you see it 👍 you have been counted)

The 1st place winner will receive $200 to be donated to their favorite Pre-selected local charity on their behalf.

Rake for the Lake UPDATE

UPDATE on the leaf machine....

We are hoping to have the City Leaf machine fixed in the next week or so.

In the mean time, the street department is asking that you PLEASE DO NOT rake your leaves to the street curb.

The compost site is still open, or wait until we are back up and running.

Keep an eye on the City of Lake Crystal facebook page or on their website for updates regarding the leaf pick up status - Thank you!!!

ARE YOU READY FOR ELECTION DAY 2024 - Tuesday, November 5th

The City of Lake Crystal has one polling location at the Lake Crystal Area Recreation Center. If you recently registered, you will receive a postcard that inform you of your polling location. Use the Polling Place Finder to locate your precinct and find directions to the polling location. Be sure to register early to avoid long lines at the polls.

Veterans and their families are invited to the

LCWM Veterans Day Program

In honor of our Veterans, LCWM Elementary will be hosting a special Veterans Day Program on Monday, November 11 at 2 PM. They invite all veterans and their families to join them for this meaningful event.

Light refreshments will be served following the program. These kiddos look forward to celebrating and honoring those who have served our country!

This cozy bear will come home with you after you use acrylic paints on canvas to bring him to life! Come have a “beary” good time!

Holiday Cookie Bake & Take:

In this hands-on class you will be working in pairs. You’ll be provided with ingredients, the recipe for the dough and everything you need to form, trim, and decorate the cookies. Bring your own apron if you like. And most important, don’t forget to bring containers to carry home your six dozen treats. We are sorry, we cannot accommodate peanut allergies in this class as we will be making a peanut butter cookie.

It's "PLAY TIME AGAIN" Join LCWM Community Education for the next production featuring GOLDILOCKS AND THE 3 BEARS. All are invited from Grade 2 and up. * There isn't registration, just come to Try Outs on Monday, November 11, at 3:15 pm. There is a bus from the Elementary that day. This is for grades 2 on up!
