WHM Assemblies

March was a month filled with empowerment and inspiration as we celebrated Women's History Month at HSA McKinley! We are excited to share some highlights of the enriching activities and events we organized for our middle and high school girls.

One of the highlights of the month was welcoming Symone Holmes from the Chicago Women in Trades. Symone shared her journey and insights into the world of trades, igniting a spark of possibility and potential in our girls. Her presence was truly inspiring and opened doors to new opportunities for our students.

Additionally, our girls had the privilege of participating in a self-defense class led by Master Daniel and his team from Lions Paw Karate Academy. Learning essential self-defense techniques not only fosters physical strength but also empowers our girls with confidence and resilience.

We are thrilled to have provided our students with such invaluable experiences that not only celebrate the achievements of women throughout history but also equip our girls with the tools and knowledge to succeed in their own endeavors.

We will continue to uplift and empower the young women in our school community, nurturing their dreams and aspirations every step of the way!
