Catholic Schools Walk Fundraising Page

As a THANK YOU for helping us work toward our goal, we have a couple of exciting incentives to announce for our St. Gabriel School Families. 

1.   Register your family on our Team Page and collect your first donation to have your FAMILY SHOE added to our WALL OF FAME at school! Let’s fill that wall! 

So far we have 28 families on our “Wall of Fame.”

2.   For every $100 in donations collected by a family, they will be entered into a raffle for a $500 tuition credit. For example, if your family collects $500 in donations, you will receive 5 raffle entries. One lucky winner will be drawn on November 17th so start collecting!  

We currently have 44 tickets in our tuition raffle.

3.   The top 5 families that collect the most donations by November 17th will enjoy a PIZZA PARTY with Father Tim and Mrs. Lestina (date and time to be determined).  

Our top 5 families have raised between $300 and $800. As of today, 10 students will be joining us for a pizza party.

4.   The Impossible Shot returns! Any family that raises $250 or more will get an opportunity to participate in the IMPOSSIBLE SHOT contest created by our very own Mrs. Schulteis. This event will be held during a special pep rally on Monday, October 23rd in front of the entire school. All students in a qualifying family will get a chance and if a student makes the IMPOSSIBLE SHOT, they will win an “OUT OF UNIFORM” day for their family!   

We have 16 students who will be trying the Impossible Shot… so far.

Congratulations:

Please join us in congratulating our 7/8th-grade boys and girls volleyball teams. They have both been invited to play in the Seton Tournament which begins on October 23rd. 

We will be having a school pep rally at 2:40 p.m. on Monday, October 23rd, to cheer them on and wish them good luck. 

Please join us if you can. All are welcome!

Dress Code Reminder:

The cold weather is coming and October 15th is this Sunday.  That means tomorrow, Friday, October 13th, is the last day to wear shorts to school. Please make sure that your child(ren) has switched their uniform clothes from summer to fall/winter weather items.

After-School Care Learning Program:

St. Gabriel School’s After School Program is for students in all-day K4 through 8^th grades. The program will run from 3:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day and costs $12.00 a day. This program is on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Students must be picked up promptly by 5:30 p.m. A $5 late fee will be charged for late pick-ups.

In order to be able to provide adequate supervision, parents must sign their children up at least one day in advance. Any changes should be reported to the office that morning. Due to staffing requirements, we may not be able to accommodate last-minute attendance requests. If space is available, a fee of $5 will be charged for same-day additions to the After School Care list. Since adequate staffing is arranged in advance, same-day cancellations to the program are non-refundable.

**August and September late fees, cancellations, and drop-in charges have been waived. These charges will take effect in October and will be reflected in your statements.

$crip Certificates:

Scrip is a Win-Win program - WIN for St. Gabriel School fundraising and WIN for our families tuition statements! 

You may purchase $crip cards in the school office, after weekend Masses, or online.

Interested in learning more about buying online certificates using the RAISE RIGHT app? Please contact Laura Rogacki in the Parish Office (262-628-1141) for the program code. 

Already have an account with RaiseRight? Please place your special orders online by 8 a.m. Monday mornings to have them filled by Thursday each week (excluding holiday weeks).

$crip volunteers are needed to help sell $crip cards after the weekend Masses. It’s easy and training is provided. Plus you always work with another person so you can get to know your fellow parishioners.

TEAM ACHIEVEMENTS

Congratulations to the 8th-grade boys and 8th-grade girls teams on getting officially invited to The Seton Tournament.

5th grade boys remain undefeated (5-0)

6th-grade girls, continuing to grow and got their first win a couple of weeks ago (1-7)

6th grade boys, tied for first place (6-1)

8th grade boys, tied for 2nd place (5-1)

8th grade girls, tied for 2nd (5-2)

Come out and CHEER on our Hawks and Lady Hawks and we wish all of our athletes good luck this weekend.

Don't forget all St. Gabriel students get FREE admission to all home games!! More information is in backpack mail.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS:

• Eligibility is open to 5th-8th grade school and religious education students
• Practices can begin as early as November 6, 2023
• Games start the first week of December
• All league games are played on Saturday morning/afternoon
• The basketball entry fee is $75 per player
• Payable via check to St. Gabriel (Attn: Athletics)
• Every player will receive a St. Gabriel Hawks warm-up shirt
• Each family is required to volunteer for a minimum of 4 hours per season
• We are requesting to host games at our school gym and it will be critical to have volunteers to run admissions and concessions.
• We would LOVE to field as many teams as possible for this winter season.
• Signup must be completed by October 15, 2023, by midnight.
