Out of Uniform Day:

Tomorrow, Friday, September 28th, will be an out-of-uniform day.  Students can choose to wear their favorite team jersey or just their favorite outfit.  Please remember, if girls choose to wear a pair of leggings, their tops should be long enough to completely cover their behind.

As a THANK YOU for helping us work toward our goal, we have a couple of exciting incentives to announce for our St. Gabriel School Families. 

1. Register your family on our Team Page and collect your first donation to have your FAMILY SHOE added to our WALL OF FAME at school! Let’s fill that wall!
2. For every $100 in donations collected by a family, they will be entered into a raffle for a $500 tuition credit. For example, if your family collects $500 in donations, you will receive 5 raffle entries. One lucky winner will be drawn on November 17th so start collecting!
3. The top 5 families that collect the most donations by November 17th will enjoy a PIZZA PARTY with Father Tim and Mrs. Lestina (date and time to be determined).  
4. The Impossible Shot returns! Any family that raises $250 or more will get an opportunity to participate in the IMPOSSIBLE SHOT contest created by our very own Mrs. Schulteis. This event will be held during a special pep rally (date and time to be determined) in front of the entire school. All students in a qualifying family will get a chance and if a student makes the IMPOSSIBLE SHOT, they will win an “OUT OF UNIFORM” day for their family!

Spirit Shirts:

We will be sending home spirit shirts this week.  Please watch for them. Next Wednesday will be our next spirit group meeting.  Since it is a Mass day, students should wear their spirit shirts with uniform bottoms. 

Per our dress code, if your child is wearing leggings, a uniform skirt should be worn over them.

Fire Safety Week:

The Richfield Fire Department will be at school on October 2nd. They will be reviewing fire safety with students in grades K4-4.

Vision Screening:

Richfield Lions Club will be at school on October 11th for their annual vision screening. All students K4-8 will be screened. You will be notified if any concerns are found.

Picture Retake Day:

This year we are using Network Photography for our school pictures and yearbook. The photographers will be here for retakes tomorrow, Friday, September 29th from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. 

They will be taking orders for yearbooks in January. You will not be able to order them until then. The link will be sent out as soon as we get it.

After-School Care Learning Program:

St. Gabriel School’s After School Program is for students in all-day K4 through 8^th grades. The program will run from 3:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day and costs $12.00 a day. This program is on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Students must be picked up promptly by 5:30 p.m. A $5 late fee will be charged for late pick-ups.

In order to be able to provide adequate supervision, parents must sign their children up at least one day in advance. Any changes should be reported to the office that morning. Due to staffing requirements, we may not be able to accommodate last-minute attendance requests. If space is available, a fee of $5 will be charged for same-day additions to the After School Care list. Since adequate staffing is arranged in advance, same-day cancellations to the program are non-refundable.

**August and September late fees, cancellations, and drop-in charges have been waived. These charges will take effect in October and will be reflected in your statements.

$crip Certificates:

Scrip is a Win-Win program - WIN for St. Gabriel School fundraising and WIN for our families tuition statements! 

You may purchase $crip cards in the school office, after weekend Masses, or online.

Interested in learning more about buying online certificates using the RAISE RIGHT app? Please contact Laura Rogacki in the Parish Office (262-628-1141) for the program code. 

Already have an account with RaiseRight? Please place your special orders online by 8 am Monday mornings to have them filled by Thursday each week (excluding holiday weeks).

$crip volunteers are needed to help sell $crip cards after the weekend Masses. It’s easy and training is provided. Plus you always work with another person so you can get to know your fellow parishioners.

If you have a few minutes (approximately 15) to give after weekend Mass, please prayerfully consider helping us sell $crip cards. Contact Cindy Fassbender at [email protected] for more details.

So far we have earned $94.90 just by scanning receipts!
