Hello St. Gabriel Families,

Check out the following headlines and links to stay up-to-date on everything happening at St. Gabriel Parish School.  The headlines that are highlighted are NEW to this Gazette.

Meet and Greet:

Our back-to-school meet and greet is scheduled for Wednesday, August 23, 2023, from 12:00-5:00. There is much to do to get ready for the school year.

  • Meet your teachers and pack your desks/lockers with all of your school supplies for the year.
  • Meet some of your classmates, old and new.
  • Step into the gym while you are here to get your school picture taken
  • Visit our uniform swap tables that will be set up in the parish hall. If you have uniform items that your child has outgrown, bring them along and swap them for a bigger size or just pick up a few gently used items that your child could use during the upcoming school year.

We look forward to seeing everyone again!!!

The Welcome Back Packets:

The packets are ready for you to pick up. You can stop in the Gathering Space of the church after the weekend Masses or during the week Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM.  Any envelopes that are not picked up will be mailed on August 7.

Meet Our New Middle School ELA Teacher:

Mrs. Karen Jungwirth

I come to St. Gabriel with 16 years of teaching experience and am licensed in secondary education and English. A Catholic education is important to me, and I am blessed to have spent much of my teaching career in a Catholic school. I have always loved reading and writing, and sharing this passion with others is what led me into teaching. My expertise is in middle school ELA and ninth-grade literature, and I also have a background in composition and creative writing. I am so excited to join the St. Gabriel family and look forward to meeting all of you in the fall!
