Registration for the 2024-2025 School Year:

Our Early Bird Discount of $250 per child (maximum discount of $1,000 per family) ends on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024.


As of last week about half of our families have registered for the next year already!


Please register and make the $200/family registration fee payment by check at the school office, or by credit card on the school website. 


For questions, please contact Mrs. Fassbender in the school office. By registering early, you help us plan more efficiently for the next school year.


Please note that there is a link at the top of the registration form to pay the $200 registration fee online. Unfortunately, your registration won't be completed until the registration fee is paid. The fee will be deducted from your tuition bill.


Want to save $500 off tuition? Refer a family; You can help our school family grow!

Current families can receive the $500 referral credit for each new family they refer who subsequently enrolls their student(s) at AND whose student(s) attend(s) St. Gabriel Parish School. Click HERE to see more ways to save on tuition.

Read a Thon Results:

Thanks to the hard work of our fabulous HSA team and our students, our 2024 Read a Thon was a huge success! Our students read a total of 62,428 minutes and raised $14,313 for our school. WOW!!! These funds will be used to renew our IXL subscriptions for next year. The remaining funds will be used to purchase planners (assignment notebooks) and consumable textbooks for our students.


Our Top Class:

2nd grade with 10,110 minutes read…WOW!!


The following students were our top readers in their grades:

K4: Dawson Pentler - 735 minutes

K5: Evelyn DuCharme - 1,011 minutes

1st: Nolan Poff - 526 minutes

2nd: Chase Sannes - 1,266 minutes

3rd: Oliver Pentler - 1,748 minutes

4th: Emma Sannes - 2,024 minutes **Top Reader in the School!!

5th: Everett Rusk - 1,025 minutes

6th: Ella Haley - 1,570 minutes  

7th: Aiden Collins - 1,016 minutes

8th: Roksana Pawela - 696 minutes

Below are some fun pictures of the characters and mystery readers who visited the school last week during the Read A Thon! Fr. Tim with the Cat in the Hat, retired St. Gabriel 6th-grade teacher and school secretary sub., Mrs. Merkel with three funny unicorns, and Mrs. Lestina with Lego City People. The students had so much fun listening to stories from these readers & characters! Thank you again HSA for a successful week of reading.

Booster Night at JJ’s on the Bend:

Thank you to everyone who visited JJ’s on the Bend for their amazing fish fry last Friday evening. JJ’s donated $5 of every $15 fish fry to St. Gabriel Parish School. We raised a total of $766. Thank you to Tom DeMers and the staff at JJ’s for hosting this booster night for our school. We look forward to enjoying many more meals at JJ’s in the future.


SAC Pizza Sale:

Stock the freezer with delicious pizza by Emil's. The annual SAC pizza sale will occur after the weekend Masses on April 6 & 7. Paper forms will go home with the students on April 8 with a return date of April 15. The pizza pick-up will be May 9 - 12.


School Receptionist/Administrative Assistant Needed:

Since our beloved Mrs. Fassbender is retiring at the end of this school year, we have begun searching to fill her position. The complete job posting can be found HERE or on the Archdiocese website under careers. If you know of anyone who is qualified and may be interested, please send them our way. Thank You!


Auction Update:

The auction committee and parish business office are still finalizing numbers and will share the results soon. In the meantime, attend the wrap-up meeting on Thursday, March 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Council room.


2024-2025 School Calendar:

Please see the link below for the 2024-2025 school year calendar. Next school year, our Christmas break is a little longer and spring break times are a little different than usual. This is because Christmas falls on a Wednesday this year and Easter is very late (April 20th).

After-School Care Learning Program:

Don't forget to sign up for after-school care for April. We need time to plan accordingly to have adequate staffing. Please CLICK HERE to sign your child up and to pay. You may also visit our website to sign up your child/ren. Lastly, please remember to pack a snack for your child/ren.

$crip Certificates:

$crip certificates are the perfect gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, and thank yous. You may purchase $crip cards in the school office Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m., after weekend Masses, or online.


Interested in learning more about buying online certificates using the RAISE RIGHT app? Please contact Laura Rogacki in the Parish Office (262-628-1141) for the program code. 


Already have an account with RaiseRight? Please place your special orders online by 8 a.m. Monday mornings to have them filled by Thursday (excluding holiday weeks).

Box Tops:

So far from July 2023 - present we have raised $271.70 from the Box Tops program by simply scanning shopping receipts. It's a super easy-peasy fundraiser! Box Tops are worth $.10 each and they add up fast! Twice a year, our school receives a check to help pay for whatever we need - equipment, supplies, or experiences the kids love!
