Order of Worship for November 22, 2020
Welcome Lisa Campbell!
Lisa was received as a member of Bethlehem during in-person worship on Nov. 15. A native of Virginia, Lisa moved to North Carolina after graduating from Virginia Tech where she worked as a commercial interior designer.
In 2015 she came back home to the Old Dominion, marrying her high school sweetheart Greg, and joining the faculty at Liberty University. She has two daughters and two stepsons. Last year the Campbells made SML their full-time home.
We Welcome You to the Bethlehem UM Church family!
The Virginia Department of Health has made available the phone app COVIDWISE for use in Virginia to help with contact tracing and alerting individuals who may have been exposed. This app will be extremely helpful the more people who use it, respecting anonymity while providing for public safety. We at Bethlehem encourage anyone attending in-person worship to consider using this app so that we can continue to keep each other safe. Read about the COVIDWISE app and join in the fight!
Advent Study begins first week of December

Classes on Wednesday nights will be facilitated by Bill Hamilton

Help for Moneta Elementary
and BUMC Preschool
The PTA of Moneta Elementary is gathering much needed supplies for the kids who are learning in-person. Donations of bottled water, paper towels, and baby wipes will be collected at BUMC now through Sunday, November 22 for the school.
In addition, BUMC Preschool is in need of lysol and chlorox wipes.
Whatever you are able to give would be so helpful!
Thanks for your help with this outreach!
Glorious Gifts Too!

Do you have a friend, relative, business associate, or neighbor you need a gift for this holiday? Why not give a gift to a charity that gives a gift to someone in need! The charities were chosen for their ministry’s assistance to local hungry and low income adults and families (LCM, Stepping Stones), handicapped/disabled (C.A.T.S., Hope To Walk, Unbridled Change), abused women (Victims of Domestic Violence), children /youth (Henry Fork SC, Bethlehem Preschool, Food For Kids, CASA,SML Good Neighbors), and others worldwide (Heifer Project).
View the Glorious Gifts Too Order Form for additional information. Print it out to participate, or call the church office to have one mailed to you!
Thanks for supporting our local charities this season!
We are grateful for your continued support of our ministry here at Bethlehem UMC. Are you tired of mailing in your checks? Try online giving. It is safe and secure, and now available through PayPal.
