Rev. Joanne will preach.
Children begin in the sanctuary.
The Children’s Choir will sing.
Lady CrUUners will sing.

New Member Ceremony.

On Sunday, October 30, Rev. Joanne will lead a service called,
"What the Living Do". Part of the service will include a ritual to
honor loved ones who have died and whose memory lives on.
She leads this as a celebration of the holy days called by various
names: Halloween, Samhain, All Souls Day, among others.

If you feel so moved, please bring a photograph of someone who has died, whose memory you would like to honor. Alternatively, you might like to bring an object or a small special food item that reminds you of the person whom you would like to remember.

During the service, you will be invited to come forward to silently add your item to an altar of memory. So that others can view your item, you might label it. For example, you could write: In memory of my father, Joseph Giannino. His daughter, Joanne Giannino.

If you have questions, please email Rev. Joanne .

Whether or not you participated in the “Five Thousand Pound Carbon Diet Challenge”, all Green UUs (and wannabes ) are invited to celebrate the losses amassed by our teams of “dieters”.  Find out how our members responded to the challenge to lower their carbon footprint as they share tips, big and small, which added up to a successful “diet plan”, lowered utility bills, and empowered us as earthcare proponents.

Refreshments – “low carb”, of course!
Solar Project Update

The Solar Project continues to gain momentum. We surpassed our original fundraising goal earlier this month and currently have pledges and donations totaling nearly $69,000. The roof contract has been signed, and the Board of Trustees just approved the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Hawk Energy. If the weather cooperates, we could have our roof repaired and our solar panels installed by the end of this calendar year!

This project would not have come together so quickly without the support and generosity of our wonderful congregation. There is still time to donate if you'd like to be a part of this incredible project. We will happily accept pledges and donations for the Solar Project through  Sunday, November 6th .
