In recognition of Building Safety Month, the City of Perry is devoted to protecting the public health and safety of its citizens and all who visit our beautiful city.
During the month of May, the City of Perry through the devotion of the vigilant guardians of building safety officials, fire prevention professionals, engineers, architects, building trades and the construction industry, the built environment, energy efficiency, water conservation and life safety elements within our city will continue to be a priority.
Even though this proclamation is during the month of May these efforts are a year long endeavor with the support and consensus of our local, State, and Federal Officials and the International Code Council. It is also a reminder to the public of the critical role local government plays in protecting the lives, property, the environment and the quality of life we all take advantage of in our daily lives.
Protection against natural and man-made disasters and safety in the places we live, work, play, worship and learn is no accident. The efforts made by the dedicated professionals and your local government officials play a vital role in a sustainable and quality way of life in our state and in our home town.
