“I am very pleased to be able to continue my work at the City of Perry in a new and challenging role. While I have enjoyed my economic development endeavors in the Perry community I am excited about taking on a more comprehensive role in making Perry the best City it can be. I greatly appreciate Mayor and Council’s confidence in me to help guide the City and thank them, City Manager Gilmour, and the rest of the City of Perry for their ongoing support.”
Word on the Street
Arby's is coming back to Perry! It will be located in the former Hibachi Buffet (also known as the Shoney's) building on Sam Nunn Blvd. Three tenant spaces are being built, one is for Arby’s and the other two are retail spaces for lease. The shell of the existing building will remain and be redesigned with a face lift.
