Impression 5 Science Center is seeking a L.A.B.S camp instructor to lead and deliver their camp program and support opportunities in the main exploration area, deliver workshops, outreach and support Think Tank operations.

Ingham County invites interest for the position of fairground events director. The Fairground Events Director implements the general direction and policies of the Ingham County Fair Board, develops long and short term marketing plans for the Fair and its facilities, makes presentations to community groups, businesses and other groups to promote utilization of the fairgrounds and event facilities and gather sponsorships.

The Lansing Ignite soccer league is looking for volunteers to sing the national anthem at their home games at Cooley Law School Stadium this summer. If you are interested, please contact them directly via email.

The City of Lansing is now accepting applications for summer camp activity leaders  to assist with the guidance and development of youth who participate in the City of Lansing's 8-week summer camp program. These leadership-driven positions provide an excellent chance for you to ignite creative learning to young people in the community between the ages of 5 and 17 years old.

LEPFA is currently seeking a design & marketing intern for the summer of 2019. This is a paid part-time internship where the desired candidate will assist the Graphic Design Coordinator and Marketing Services Coordinator in the coordination, planning and execution of the design and marketing activities, responsibilities and tasks for the Lansing Center, Groesbeck Golf Course, Cooley Law School Stadium and LEPFA community events.

Art in the Park 2019 Art Festival is an event promoting the awareness of and encouragement for all to partake in the wonderful world of art. Artists are invited to submit applications to participate in the festival. Apply by the early-bird deadline of July 10.

The Cracked Pot Studio Tour is entering its third year and is excited to invite artists once again to participate in this year's tour. Twelve rural ceramic studio artists, located from Bath to Williamston to Mason, have opened their studios for this tour and will invite a total of 40 additional Michigan ceramic artists to join the tour and sell their work at their studios. Deadline to apply is April 30.

Does your community have a partner that has hosted outstanding humanities-based events?  Do you have that one person in your community whose contributions result in outstanding public humanities events and projects? 
Michigan Humanities invites you to submit your nominations for thei r first statewide humanities awards. Nominations are due May 1.

The Clinton County Economic Alliance is hosting a workshop designed for event and festival organizers to learn some best practices for taking their events to the next level. accommodate  your work.

A Call for Proposals!
Public Art Opportunity in the City of St. Johns, MI!

The City of St. Johns is currently accepting proposals from artists interested in creating a  commissioned public art mural  in St. Johns. The mural will be located on the north side outer wall of 223 N. Clinton Ave. 

The competition is open to all artists, architects, designers, etc. A short list of up to three artists will be created by the art committee and each artist may be asked to further develop their design proposal. The LEAP grant encourages the use of artists from the Tri-County area (Ingham, Eaton and Clinton Counties).

The project budget is set at $10,000 for an artist or team of collaborative artists. Submissions with budgets greater than $10,000 will be considered if the artist has secured the additional funding through other grants or donations prior to start of work. The project budget should be inclusive of all project costs, including but not limited to artist's fees and expenses, taxes, materials, permit fees, travel, insurance fees, transportation costs, fabrication, installation and the plaque crediting the artist and LEAP.

Deadline for proposals is May 24.
