Public Art Opportunity in the City of St. Johns, MI!
The City of St. Johns is currently accepting proposals from artists interested in creating a
commissioned public art mural
in St. Johns. The mural will be located on the north side outer wall of 223 N. Clinton Ave.
The competition is open to all artists, architects, designers, etc. A short list of up to three artists will be created by the art committee and each artist may be asked to further develop their design proposal. Submissions with budgets greater than $10,000 will be considered if the artist has secured the additional funding through other grants or donations prior to start of work. The project budget should be inclusive of all project costs, including but not limited to artist's fees and expenses, taxes, materials, permit fees, travel, insurance fees, transportation costs, fabrication, installation and the plaque crediting the artist and LEAP.
