REACH Studio Art Center is seeking a part-time development director. This position will oversee REACH's Point of Entry Showcase Tour events, cultivate, coordinate and inspire Showcase tour hosts and more. Please apply no later than May 27.

Conferences, Classes and Creative Opportunities

The City of Grand Ledge is currently accepting proposals from artists interested in fabricating a minimum of three sculptures that function as interactive musical instruments, creating a " Sound Garden" in Jaycee Park, along the Riverwalk trail system that connects their downtown and riverside park areas. The functional pieces are to reflect the community's love for nature and music, with an emphasis on having a natural theme reflected in design, material and tone.

Elevation Apartments of Okemos is seeking a sculpture piece that will become iconic within the community and provide a sense of arrival to the project. The piece will be displayed at the central convergence of automobile, pedestrian and bicycle pathways within the community. It will also be a landmark for the Meridian Township pathway system trailhead being constructed in the community. Interested artist should look at the call and  email the developers directly.

Art in the Park 2019 Art Festival is an event promoting the awareness of and encouragement for all to partake in the wonderful world of art. Artists are invited to submit applications to participate in the festival. Apply by the early-bird deadline of July 10.

Old Town Lansing is looking for participants for Chalk of the TownFill out the online form to apply by May 25. All ages are welcome, but artists under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Delta Charter Township announces a request for qualifications for an experimental public art piece that will demonstrate successful placemaking. 
The goal of this project is to provide examples of placemaking during Delta Rocks! Family Fest. The RFQ is open to all professional artists and/or artist-led teams, based in Michigan. Please apply by May 29.

Join the growing list of member artists who have shown their work on the Arts Council's exhibit wall. Applications are now open for their 2019 Arts Council round-two exhibitions. Exhibition space is available for the months of July through December 2019.  All disciplines are encouraged to apply. Stop by the Arts Council  M-F 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. to view the space and see if it will 
accommodate  your work.
