Conferences, Classes and Creative Opportunities

The GFWC Swartz Creek Women's Club is accepting applications for their annual Art and Craft Fair held on Oct. 19, 2019. All artists are welcomed to enter this juried show. Booths are priced at $55. Request an application via email or call 810-300-4777. 

Crossing the Straights Mackinac Island 2019 Call for Entries has extended its deadline and outreach. They are now accepting applications from both peninsulas. The exhibition will be featured in venues stretching across the island (ARTPrize style) during the last of the island's high season. Deadline to apply is July 15.  Get more info and apply!

The Arts Council  is pleased to offer its Open Group Grant Consultations. Join us on July 17 at Global Coffee Co. in St. Johns from 9-11 a.m. to discuss upcoming grant opportunities, ask questions and expand your grant knowledge.  Get details more details!

Flint Institute of Arts  and its Founders Society announce a call to artists for the 14th Annual First Frost Arts & Fine Crafts Fair. All submissions will be juried. Booth prices range from $135-$300. Applications available at  www.flintarts.org. Deadline to apply is  Aug. 10, 2019. 

The City Pulse and the Arts Council of Greater Lansing are proud to be presenting their Summer of Art Series once again! Apply to have your artwork featured on one of City Pulse's covers from July 3 - Aug. 28. All media is encouraged to apply. The call is open to anyone who lives in Ingham, Eaton and Clinton counties.

Wayne Main Street Second Annual Art-O-Motive is seeking artists for their automobile hood-painting competition. Prizes will be awarded from $50 - $250. Hoods will be provided and must be painted and returned to the Wayne Historical Museum by Friday Aug. 2 in order to be entered into the competition. Get complete details and info!
