We are so EXCITED! It's official....our team broke ground on June 12, 2019 on the new Recreation and Community Services Center. Construction has begun! Drive by 2450 S. 68th and check it out.

Our guide will include information on our Before and After School Programs for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year, preschool program, all of your favorite classes and brand new activities! Registration for Fall will be starting Monday August 5th for Residents and Monday August 19th for Non-Residents. Mark your calendars! It'll be here before we know it!

Did you know that the meals are for ALL kids?  We invite you to visit one of our locations and bring your children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, or neighbors and have some good food and good fun!

Green Bay Packers Family Night

Are you ready for some football?!?!  The Green Bay Packers are hosting their Annual Family Night to celebrate the upcoming season on Friday August 2nd and the WAWM RCS Department has your seat for the show.

We will be departing Nathan Hale High School at 3pm on Friday to start making our way to the Frozen Tundra.  In-Stadium festivities begin at 5:30 pm followed by drills and skills showcased by the 2019 Green Bay Packers team.   At the completion of the practice, there will be a spectacular laser and fireworks show that will leave you in awe.  After the fireworks, we will be returning to Nathan Hale High School.

Tickets are $35 per person and participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

32nd Annual Fun Run/Walk and Pool Party
Friday, July 26th
Honey Creek Parkway & McCarty Park
The fun has begun with our Annual Fun Run and Pool Party. Bring the family for an evening packed with fun starting off with a Fun Run/Walk through Honey Creek Parkway.   Following the Run/Walk, we will walk to McCarty Park's  Pool and Picnic area for an evening of pool fun, playground games, Operation Recreation and a delicious picnic dinner. Spend quality family time outside with the WAWM RCS

Youth Sports
Summer Youth Sports Update
Well, we have been dealing with not such great weather but we are pleased by the amount of boys and girls out there learning the sports of baseball, soccer, softball and t-ball.  We are moving into our game schedule now and look forward to our kids having fun, continuing to learn while all in a low stress schedule that allows for more family time.

Coming Soon...New this year we will start our Fall Flag Football and Soccer leagues Saturday, August 17th.  Sign up by August 2nd and save $5.  All 4K-8th graders are highly encouraged to sign up now!  Sign up is based on the 2019-2020 school year.

The Liberty Heights wading pool located at 1540 South 62nd Street will be open Monday - Saturdays until August 24th.  We are closed Thursday July 4.

Early Childhood 
The WAWM RCS FREE Summer Tot Lot staff says School's out and it's time to come to Wilson Fieldhouse (located behind Wilson Elementary School) and have loads of FUN! Tot Lot is geared for kids 6 years and younger. It's open from 8:30-11:30 am and again at 12:30-3:30 pm Monday-Friday. FREE breakfast is offered from 8:30-9:00 am and a FREE lunch is offered from 12:30-1:00 pm. Call Tot Lot for more information at 414-254-7607! Don't miss out on all the fun!

Safety Town is coming, Don't forget to sign-up! 
In collaboration with community organizations we are proud to offer this program specifically designed for children entering 4K & 5K this fall.  Safety Town will help you protect your child by empowering him/her to make safe choices
