They "brought the house down"!
A wonderful concert and pageant!
We have had a wonderful Advent season here at the school that included preparation, prayer, and an outpouring of love and generosity to others. Thank you again for supporting our mission by reinforcing in your homes the true meaning of Christmas!

Last night's Christmas Concert and Nativity Pageant was one for the memory book! The school was filled beyond capacity with family, friends, and loved ones who came not only to see our beautiful students perform, but also to remember that Jesus Christ is the reason for the season! Our Kindergarten through Grade 5 students and our Upper School Chorus sang beautifully under the direction of both Mr. Borges and Miss Cournoyer. A great deal of gratitude is extended to these two teachers for their dedication to our music program and their tireless efforts to bring out the best in each one of our students. Thank you also to Mrs. Shaughnessy for year after year putting together the perfect Nativity performance! The evening was beautifully orchestrated and had quite an impact on all who were in attendance.

Upon our return to school we will "hit the ground running" as we launch the second round of MAP Growth testing the week of January 7th. While we expect to see growth in our student learning and mastery of concepts, we will be adding the use of MAP Skills to our curriculum starting in the new year as well. This weekly use of MAP Skills on chromebooks in the classroom (as well as possible use at home) will take place on the MAP testing platform and will certainly assist students in achieving their RIT growth projection for the year. More info to come as we utilize this excellent support platform.
On behalf of our entire faculty and administrative team, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a safe and memorable break with your family. Please remember to celebrate the joy of the birth of Our Lord and Savior in your home this Christmas!
God bless and see you in the New Year!
~Mrs. Russo
