We LOVE our families!
Click here to check out some more pics we've added to our album from the BIG game last Saturday night!
So much fun...thanks to all who came out to cheer us on!
Compared to last week’s altered schedule, special assemblies, dress down days and surprise treats, this week was much more quiet and predictable. Students enjoyed a full and uninterrupted week of academics, which our teachers appreciated. Several classes are engaging in culminating activities, reports and presentations as a method of demonstrating mid-year growth. This coming Tuesday the 12 th , we will have the opportunity to see our Grades 7 & 8 students shine, as they participate in our annual Science Fair .

Enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year is well underway, and many of you have successfully navigated the new online procedure for enrollment…. Thank you! Please note that we have begun to receive calls demonstrating interest and numerous questions pertaining to our programs and offerings. Many of these calls are for the upper grades, so please make certain that if you are planning to have your child(ren) continue here at SFX, that you secure their spot (s) as soon as possible, so that we have accurate class counts, as we consider new family enrollments.

THANK YOU to the many families who have taken the time to donate to our efforts to create amazing auction items for our annual fundraiser. Participation in the class challenge varied, and incentives will be calculated on Monday, so final push this weekend!  Three short weeks from tomorrow night, many of us will gather to demonstrate support of our school. Food, fellowship and “fun through fundraising” will all be a part of the evening’s festivities. Please consider joining us for this very special evening as we raise the funds necessary to support the financial vitality of our school, as well as set our sights on school improvements. This year’s Call of the Heart will be an extension of funds raised last year for our outdoor recreation area. A new, safer playground and basketball court are currently being planned! Come see the amazing generosity of our school community and parish on this one very special night.
Have a great weekend!
~ Mrs. Russo

Summer Fun at St. Francis Program...straw poll:
We need to make plans
for our Summer Fun Program but we need to know who is interested first!
Help us to gauge age-level interest and outings feasibility by clicking here to let us know if you are planning on or would be interested in registering your child(ren) for our summer camp this summer, which traditionally runs in July for 3 weeks. (Currently open to Preschool age through Grade 5...but is dependent on interest) Your feedback does not commit you to the weeks, but will help us determine what is possible and necessary for space and staffing.
Grade 7 and 8 will host their SCIENCE FAIR next Tuesday, February 12th!

Grade 7 and 8 students have worked hard on their projects.
Judging will happen during the morning, but there will be  Open Viewing for families starting at 1:00pm on this day, with awards to be given at 2:00pm in the Gym.
This space will be used to request parental support and volunteerism at school!
The auction is quickly approaching, and much help is needed to prepare for the night of the event! Basket making, cutting and pasting, decorating and working the night of the event are all areas that we could use assistance. Please click here to let the SEC committee know how you might be willing to help!

Thank you!
