As the expression goes,
never a dull moment
! This week was certainly one that was highlighted by the unexpected and unplanned execution of an emergency procedure. By now I am sure that you have all read the details of Wednesday afternoon’s police activity, and the reason for their final landing here in our SFX parking lot. Thank you, once again, for your patience and support as we did our best to keep our students safe and calm in a somewhat scary situation.
Some of you may have noticed the return of our former property manager,
. We are pleased to welcome him back into the fold, and are equally as grateful to
who stepped up to help out in a time of need for our school family. The upkeep, maintenance and cleanliness of our school is a major priority, and we are so blessed to have had the best people to execute this colossal task!
graders attended Mass with the Bishop at St. Mary’s Cathedral yesterday, and for me this signifies “the beginning of the end” for them. Their gowns were delivered in the afternoon, and the reality of graduation immediately began to set in. The Grade 8 final days will unfold very quickly and shortly after that, the entire school will be released and launched into summer! Please take the time, energy and effort (that we at times simply do not have) to check the school website for the answers to the questions you may have regarding any classroom and school happenings.
