Last Friday night’s Magical World of Disney FFN7 festivities were well-attended and provided fun for the whole family. The games, activities, projects and raffle items were huge hits that were followed by ice cream sundaes, thanks to Acushnet Creamery! Tremendous gratitude is extended to our School Events Committee, our grade level representatives and specifically to our “experienced ice cream scoopers”, who helped to make the evening a fun fundraiser. A special word of acknowledgement goes to our Grade 8 students who helped to run the games for our younger students. Thank you all for a wonderful evening of fun and fellowship!

This coming week we will begin our brand new testing process, with the administration of MAP Growth Testing for Kindergarten through Grade 2. Grades 3-8 assessments will be given in the next few weeks as well, and our teachers look forward to using test data to drive classroom instruction. For more information pertaining to MAP testing, and what you can expect for your child during his/her testing window, please click the link below in this newsletter.
Thanks everyone for another great week of abundant blessings! The amazing weather was the absolute perfect backdrop for the Blessing of the Animals yesterday, and the field trip for Pre-K 4 and Kindergarten to Silverbrook Farms today! Such a great start to the month of October!

Please read this week's newsletter in its entirety, as well as visit teacher webpages often, to stay on top of all of the happenings at our beautifully busy school!

Have a great long weekend and God bless-

Given the unseasonable weather, the use of pants by boys will only be mandatory from Nov 1-May 1. Middle school students will also be required to wear the new sweater that is a part of the special occasion uniform from Nov 1-May 1.

We ask that you use your best judgement based on the weather forecast throughout the rest of October. Even as cooler temps become the norm, students will walk to Mass when possible, and play outdoors for recess and as a part of Extended Care.
Testing will be mainly in the mornings for the next three weeks according to the following schedule:
Week 1 (Oct 9-12): Grades K-2
Week 2 (Oct 15-19): Grades 3-5
Week 3 (Oct 22-26): Grades 6-8
Attention Kindergarten through Grade 8 Parents!

We are excited to administer our new online standardized testing platform! CLICK HERE to access the Parent's Guide to MAP Growth for further explanation and valuable information.

Please be sure to arrive to school on time and reschedule any potential doctor's appointments that could conflict with your child's testing schedule.
