Checking In
We're checking in to see: how are you?

  • How are you feeling; physically, emotionally, and mentally?
  • How are you staying connected to others during this time of social distancing?
  • What are your biggest concerns?
  • Are you overwhelmed by news sources and information overload, or do you feel like you need more resources?

As your community resource center, we want to hear your thoughts and how we might be able to serve you.

Email Tara with the best meeting times for you during our digital office hours (Monday to Friday, 4-7P) and we can set up a time to chat via Zoom!
If you haven't checked it out yet, we have created a Community Resource List that you can access, share, and contribute to: https://bit.ly/PeaceResources.

This list includes volunteer and fund sharing opportunities, self care and educational articles, specific resources for undocumented, disabled, and LGBTQ+ populations, and more. Please contribute any additions to the list by suggesting an edit or sending an email to sjpjc@sanjosepeace.org.

Community Care: Support Local Businesses!

Small business owners are among the hardest hit by the global pandemic. Places where people typically gather to gab over a cup of coffee or share a sweet crepe have been forced to close their doors due to the state's shelter-in-place order. There are many ways you can support local businesses. One way is to purchase a gift card that you can redeem once the doors open again - this will provide revenue when they need it most.
