Checking out the "ACME Bomber" Zenith STOL

Build It. Fly It. Again!

Earlier this week, Mark Pensenstadler visited Zenith Aircraft Company in Mexico, Missouri, flying in from Michigan with his recently completed Zenith STOL CH 750 Super Duty (powered by a 160-hp Lycoming O-360 engine). Proud to show off his newly built airplane, he gave both Sebastien Heintz, owner of Zenith Aircraft Company, and demo pilot Roger Dubbert a chance to fly his latest creation, named the ACME Bomber. Mark built his STOL CH 750 Super Duty from a Zenith kit, while meticulously documenting the entire build process in detailed videos on his popular Kitplane Enthusiast YouTube channel. Mark camped with his airplane at the Zenith factory and shared a video of his first cross-country adventure to the Zenith factory.

A self-proclaimed perfectionist, Mark enjoys customizing his Zenith kit project. He previously built and flew a "Blue Angels" Zenith CH 750 Cruzer, and is now starting another Zenith kit project: a low-wing Zenith CH 650, that he will also document on his Kitplane Enthusiast channel.

Thanks to everyone who visited and participated at Zenith Aircraft's annual "Fly In to Summer" Open House and Fly-In at the kit aircraft factory this past Saturday. Remember that you are invited to visit the Zenith Aircraft kit factory on your own schedule nearly anytime. The Zenith factory is open Monday - Friday, and a factory tour and demo flight can easily be arranged (by appointment).
