‘Tis the season of giving and counting blessings. 2022 was a year of remarkable growth for Lavelle Law. We are thankful for our clients and the trust they place in us, our amazing employees, our colleagues, our community, and above all, our families. 
As we extend warm holiday greetings to you and your family, we share some of our blessings and highlights of 2022.
Rosalie Josephine was born on September 15 and is adored by her parents Emily and Adam Strentz. Emily and Adam are filled with joy this holiday season and are excited to celebrate as a family of three!
Jonathan Lee and Grace Chong were married on September 3 in Rosemont, Illinois—before heading to their honeymoon in beautiful Fiji.
Erin Claywell and Kevin Masters were married on October 8 in Woodridge, Illinois among their family and friends. They are looking forward to a honeymoon full of sand, sunshine, and much-needed rest and relaxation in early 2023.

Nataly Kaiser and her husband Roman took their belated honeymoon in September in the south of France, visiting Marseille, Avignon, St. Tropez, Cannes, Nice, and Monaco. It was definitely worth the wait!
As a December ‘21 graduate, Jodie Upchurch was sworn in and admitted to the Bar of the Illinois Supreme Court, on May 12, 2022.
MaryAllison Mahacek graduated in May from the University of Illinois College of Law. MaryAllison earned her J.D. with cum laude distinction and a Pro Bono Certificate. She was sworn in and admitted to the Bar of the Illinois Supreme Court in November.
Also in May, Griffin Flais earned his J.D. with cum laude distinction from the University of Illinois College of Law. He was admitted to the Bar of Illinois Supreme Court in November.
Dominika Borla graduated (in only 3 years) in May from the University of Illinois College of Liberal Arts and Sciences with a Bachelor of Arts. She majored in Political Science with a concertation in Law and Power and with a minor in Ecology and Conservation Biology. 
Colleen Breems and her husband Tim got a mini Irish Doodle puppy, Effie, on January 16. They are absolutely in love with her and she is definitely their first “baby!” She is the perfect addition to the family. 


On August 27, Chance Badertscher and his wife Hanna rescued another dog, George Michael, who became Heidi’s “little brother.” George Michael adds a lot of spunk to the Badertscher household and the “kids” are getting along splendidly.
