June 2015

Dear Educators,

Before you move on to BBQ's and beaches, the Sustainable Schools team would like to pass along a giant  "THANK YOU" for making this year amazing. Without you, we wouldn't have reached over 1,800 students in more than 60 classrooms throughout Whatcom County.

See all our Teacher Participants below and keep scrolling for all the summer camps and happenings for students around Whatcom County.

Interested in taking your students' environmental awareness to the next level?  Participate in the  "It Starts With ME" summer pledge  and get your students thinking about conservation all year long.

In Kindness,
Haley Mountain, Green Classroom Coordinator

A BIG THANKS to All Our Participating Teachers

More than 60 teachers participated in our programs during the 2014-2015 school year, covering an array of topics including waste prevention and recycling, paper-making, air quality, water conservation, and energy efficiency and climate change. To learn more about these amazing teachers, make sure to check out the Green Classroom accomplishments and news-worthy items.

Thank you all for supporting the Sustainable Schools Program and going above-and-beyond to teach your students how to be the stewards of tomorrow.
