Each summer, Evergreen hosts summer camps for students in our community focusing on the arts, nature, and Appalachian history. To help alleviate the costs of summer camp, Evergreen offers scholarships for campers who qualify for USDA's Free and Reduced Meal program.

2023 Recap

What did we do in 2023?

The real question is what didn't we do?

We kicked the year off with our Elementary Edibles program and Head Start in classroom visits. Then we hosted Earth and Space Science field trips, Open Houses, and a Tech Expo. We attended Community Events and held our annual Summer Camps. We even hosted a major fundraiser–Appalachian Evening! Then we had Middle School STEM field trips, visits with 5th Grade Outdoor School, Nature of Art programs with 3rd Grade students, After School field trips and visits, and we finished up the year with Chemistry and Matter & Energy in school visits.
