The Perkinson Center for the Arts and Education changes lives for the better by connecting cultural arts and community. They accomplish this by partnering with the communities they serve, presenting and supporting diverse artists and performers; creating an inclusive center for education, community events, and art discovery; and offering accessible, equitable, and affordable programming. The center features the state-of-the-art 350-seat Jimmy Dean Theater, the Baxter and Elaine Perkinson Jr. Art Gallery, and two spaces for education or special events—all nestled in the heart of the Chester Village Green.
